Our goal is to reach out to Chula and the surrounding communities with a gospel-based teaching ministry to adults and children. We want you to have the freedom to come as you are and our prayer is that you would encounter and experience God through your time in study and fellowship. We meet Tuesday evenings at the Chula school, 205 Waite St., from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
What to Expect
All ages from preschoolers to senior adults will be studying the Gospel Project, a weekly Christ centered chronological Bible study. Our goal is to encourage all ages to dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s redemptive plan to rescue mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Each night will begin with a meal provided by the leaders and the community. This will be a time to share in God’s provision and enjoy fellowship with one another, a time of announcements, and to ask questions.
After the meal, we will breakout into each of the age appropriate Bible study sessions as listed below. Parents, students and children will then meet back again in the gym. Child care is also provided.
Below you will find more information about what we are planning for each age group.
These sessions co-ordinate with the students and children, but provide adults with more in depth understanding of God’s redemptive plan. It equips each member to learn to read and study the Bible.
The youth will find application for their lives throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. They learn that it is Jesus, not good behavior, that transforms them. Each lesson equips them to study the Bible on their own and encourages them to ask questions and to expect understandable answers.
The children learn about God through every story from Genesis to Revelation. Our goal is for every child to understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s love for them. In addition to the stories, we are planning age-appropriate music, crafts, and games.
Babies and Toddlers
Even the youngest members can begin to learn about Jesus and how He loves them through the loving care of our leaders. These young ones can establish a gospel foundation for a lifetime of discipleship.
